NEWS FROM THE ACTIVITY OFFICE June Events We are getting ready for our first pancake breakfast.  We'll have it on Monday, June 9th and again on June 23rd from 8:00 to 9:00 in the Ballroom.  Pancakes (blueberry or buttermilk), sausage, orange juice and coffee.  $3.00.  Get ticket in the activity office. Wednesday, June 11th, Humana Insurance will be here at 8:00 am in the Ballroom.  Coffee and free donuts. Thursday, June 12th we'll have elephant bingo starting at 1:00 in the Ballroom.  At break time (2:00) we'll sell root beer floats for $1.00.  For bingo, bring a gag gift in a paper bag. Our Fathers Day Celebration will be Friday, June 13th at 1:00 in the Ballroom.  We will have BBQ Pork Sandwiches, Potato Salad, Cake, Ice Tea and Coffee.  At 2:00 we will have The Lighter Side (a barbershop quartet) perform for us.  Tickets are $5.00  Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, June 11th. June 19th Compass Estates will hold a seminar in the ballroom at 10:00.  Pizza at noon.  Friday, June 20th we will have a wine and cheese party at 2:00 in the Ballroom.  We'll also set up our chocolate fountain with fresh fruit.  Tickets are $1.00.  We'll seve White Zinfandel and Chablis wine.  Deadline is Wednesday, June 18th. Thursday, June 26th we'll have elephant bingo in the ballroom at 1:00 and at 2:00 we'll sell ice cream sundaes for $1.00. Our potlucks are on Wednesday in the Apache Room at 5:00.
